Setting qBittorrent Controller

NOTE: Before connecting the Android Application you have to enable the Web UI in qBittorrent server

Basic settings

To start using the app, set your qBittorrent server's settings and account by selecting Settings from the left menu as shown:

Then you must provide the following values:

  1. Choose a qBittorrent server: If you are using the Pro version you can choose among three server settings. On the free version there only one server setting available
  2. Connection Host : Here you can set a hostname or IP address. If your qbittorrent is at http://myserver.domain.com, just type myserver.domain.com without the protocol http:// prefix. You can also use your qBittorrent's IP Address. Example: 192.168.1.124. To know your qBitorrent's IP address follow these steps.
  3. Username: The username used to connect to your qBittorrent server. Default: admin
  4. Password: The password used to connect to your qBittorrent server. Default: adminadmin
  5. **Advanced...*: For advanced options (ports, https, and such)
  6. Refresh automatically: Check this to enable automatic checking
  7. Refresh every...: Here you can set the refresh interval
  8. Enable notifications: When check, completed torrents are notified.
  9. Check torrents every...: Here you can set how often completed torrents are checked can increase this value to wait for data.
  10. Use dark theme: When checked the app uses the dark theme. You will need to restart the application to changed take effect.
  11. Show speeds and totals: Show upload and download speeds and totals before the torrent list

Advanced options

You can also configure other advanced options, when you select Advanced from Settings

  1. Connection port: Port where your qBittorrent server is listening. By default is 8080.

  2. Enable https: If your need to connect to your qBittorrent server over https, check this option.

  3. Subfolder: This field commonly can be left empty, unless your qBittorrent server is published on a subfolder. Example: http://myserver.domain.com/torrents. In this case you have to set this value to /torrrents

  4. Connection timeout: Timeout in second until a connection is established. Default 5 seconds.

  5. Data timeout: Timeout in seconds to wait for data. Default 8 seconds. If you have a slow connection you
