Getting Started: How do I start using LumoGate Software?

LumoGate helps you create, secure, manage and monetize public/guest WiFi hotspots. This WiFi management software is ideal for personal use or small and medium businesses to manage their WiFi Advertising, WiFi Monetization & WiFi Security.

Follow these steps to start using LumoGate WiFi Management Software on your windows system!

System Requirements:

  • Windows 7/8/8.1/10
  • 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) Processor
  • Pentium III, 256 MB RAM
  • 2 NIC Adapters

1. Install LumoGate vX.Y.exe Setup

  • Locate and double-click the .exe file. (It will usually be in your Downloads folder.)
  • A dialog box will appear. Follow the instructions to install the software.
  • The software will be installed. You can now open the application from the desktop or the Start menu (Windows 7) or the Start Screen (Windows 8/8.1/10).

2. Launch LumoGate Software

  • Open application "LumoGate.exe"
  • Login into software with these credentials (Username: admin & Password: lumogate)

3. Start Preferred Service

  • Choose service (Captive Portal / Internet Sharing / Wireless Hotspot) and click to start. Once service is started icon turns green.

The following steps are optional. As they only apply to the Captive Portal Mode.
