Easel for UoA v0.4

Easel is an unofficial lecture recording manager for students at the University of Auckland.

Version 0.4 brings easel to Mozilla Addons. It is largely the same as version 0.3.

• Addon is hosted on Mozilla Addons: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/easel-uoa/.
• Now supports Chrome and Edge via webextension-polyfill (Chrome Web Store review pending).
• Can be tested using the easel-mock website instead of on University infrastructure.

Easel for UoA v0.3

Easel is an unofficial lecture recording manager for students at the University of Auckland.

Version 0.3 brings auto-updating and some quality of life changes:

• Addon is self-updating, using fx-updates.json file
• Highlights the currently watched lecture in the sidebar
• Removes the auto redirect from mediastore -> mediaplayer
  • Modifies sidebar URLs to automatically use mediaplayer

A minor update to v0.2:

• Clean up the source code / remove the old non-React GUI
• Minor styling changes

Easel for UoA v0.2

Easel is an unofficial lecture recording manager for students at the University of Auckland.

This version brings lots of internal improvements, and some user facing ones too:

• Rewrote the UI using React
• Improvements under the hood
• Now injects into the video preview page, rather than being hosted in an iframe
  • This should drastically improve reliability/compatiblity.

Initial Release of Easel

This is still very much a work-in-progess, but it should be more helpful this exam season.
