Conflation:

1. Fancy word for merge

Hootenanny is a suite of tools to support fully or semi-automated conflation of geospatial data. In short, it merges multiple maps of geodata into a single seamless map.

Project Goals

• Create up-to-date routable transportation networks from multiple sources
• Combine attributes from different sources
• Combine POIs and polygons for geolocation and sense making
• Maintain geometry and attribute provenance
