Process RetalPoint3 Product Listing CSV

RentalPoint 3 can generate product listing reports that are nice and pretty, but an absolute nightmare to use for anything but looking at. So I made this!

In RP3, go to Reports > Index To Reports > Product Reports > Product Listing Report (Non HTML) > Tick > Save and Export > CSV

Next, in GoLabel Automator goto Menu > Other Utils, click Chose File, select the CSV from RP3, and click Process. This will download a nicely formatted CSV file which is:

  • Actually comma separated
  • Doesn't have hundreds of empty columns
  • Expands groups so they are shown on every column

This can be opened in your favorite Spreadsheet software, or given to another piece of software if you finally decide to ditch RP3
