- 13:31 <demory> hi everyone
- 13:31 <demory> should we get started?
- 13:31 <demory> looks like most of our regulars are here
- 13:31 <novalis_dt> hi
- 13:32 <demory> ok
- 13:32 <demory> My update -- analyst IDEA proposal submitted. various follow-ups related to the national API / iPhone launch. But will be shifting focus to UI stuff (including the Trimet calltaker enhancements) over the next week
- 13:32 <novalis_dt> I've been working on a complicated set of issues related to areas and linking.
- 13:33 <novalis_dt> I was totally convinced that I had everything correct last night, but then it turned out that a street is randomly getting destroyed later in the building process, which indicates severe issues
- 13:34 <demory> novalis_dt, have you looked into the issue of NYC transfers and Raptor compatibility at all?
- 13:34 <novalis_dt> Nope. It should be easy, but I just haven't had time yet.
- 13:34 <abyrd> I am finishing up the first stage of an analyst refactor that should allow for more code reuse and allow more configurable accessibility measurements
- 13:36 <demory> novalis_dt, np. we can always set up a special instance w/o raptor for NYC for the iphone app if needed
- 13:36 <abyrd> and preparing to participate in an EU "Pre-commercial Procurement" process
- 13:38 -!- grant_h [d819d39e@gateway/web/freenode/ip.216.25.211.158] has joined #opentripplanner
- 13:39 <demory> great. TriMet folks, anything on your end?
- 13:40 <mele> We're starting to work on accessibility tagging again in OSM
- 13:40 <mele> a little differently this time around -- just tagging existnig ways instead of making new ones for sidewalks
- 13:40 <mele> I'm glad to hear you'll be starting to work on the calltaker stuff-- some of those things are features requested by regular users too
- 13:41 <demory> yeah, the next/previous departures, etc. should be useful as general features
- 13:42 <mele> FrankP anything you want to talk about?
- 13:44 -!- FrankX [1815504e@gateway/web/freenode/ip.24.21.80.78] has joined #opentripplanner
- 13:46 <demory> ok, anything else for the checkin?
- 13:47 <FrankX> Any update on the NED issue? (KNow there are workarounds, but would rather a fix than hacking with code)
- 13:48 <novalis_dt> Nope
- 13:48 <novalis_dt> I did get a message back from USGS
- 13:48 <novalis_dt> Saying that I had written to the wrong department
- 13:49 <novalis_dt> And that they would fwd the message to the correct dept
- 13:49 <novalis_dt> But since then, nothing
- 13:49 <FrankX> Your documents were probably missing the wrong stamp (Brazil :-)
- 13:49 <novalis_dt> Yeah, why can't we put stamps on e-mail yet?
- 13:50 <novalis_dt> Maybe I should try sending a telegram.
- 13:51 <FrankX> I'll ask Bibi if she has any contacts / ideas with USGS...
- 13:51 <demory> i will look into making our NED S3 bucket public (requester-pays)
- 13:52 <novalis_dt> I just remembered that we had e-mailed with them in 2010 -- I'm going to e-mail the guy I talked to then.
