Itemize r-hub/containers enhancement requests

Filing this as a tracking issue for any gaps that we identify that would prevent us from using containers in r-hub/containers.

From my perspective, both of our groups (RHub and RValHub) operating under the R Consortium, these should be the de facto assumed images for our project. If we're going to deviate from these images, it should only be with clearly identified gaps that both parties agree are irreconcilable differences in scope between the two projects.

• Immediate next steps carried forward by @mmengelbier to try to identify any anticipated needs not currently covered by these images and their artifacts.
  • I think one previous discussion suggested a built-in script/artifact bundled with the image for reproducing the characteristics on the container descriptions page.

I would like to suggest to included or focus a default Linux Distro which are included in the Windows Subsytem for Linux (WSL).
