Puavo desktop sessions
Normal Puavo desktop session is the default Gnome shell based desktop on Puavo-os. Puavo-os includes following special desktop sessions:

puavo-desktop
- default desktop -
puavo-desktop-bigtouch
- desktop for big touch screens -
puavo-infotv
- digital signage session -
puavo-webkiosk
- webkiosk desktop with guest login and auto logout
Big touch session is designed to be used on large classroom touchscreens. It is meant to be simple and touch input friendly environment for classroom use. Bigtouch session is basically a standard Gnome 3 session with a few custom default settings. Most of the UI modifications are made with Bigtouch user experience Gnome-shell extension.
Bigtouch session is currently activated on a single device using puavo.xsessions.default
puavo-conf. To activate
big touch session edit the device at Puavo web and set puavo.xsessions.default=puavo-desktop-bigtouch
to kernel parameters.
To make the windows/applications always open maximised mode you can set puavo.desktop.devilspie.scripts=maximize_windows
to device kernel parameters.
