The quick search help feature assist users in performing a valid quick search. Each search is unique based on query type; you can perform a quick search by typing in the keyword followed by the key phrase (the descriptive text). Below are the different search formats for properly executing a search.

######Quick Search Syntax: <keyword> <key phrase>
Query Type Description Command Syntax Example
Address Finds the specified address. <number> <direction> <streetname> 50 W. Washington
Latitude and Longitude Displays a marker to show location of latitude and longitude. <latitude>, <longitude> 41.8270, -87.6423
Place Name Shows specified location. <name of place> Daley Center
Tweets Displays recent tweets matching keyword, if provided. Keywords can be a bareword or a double-quoted set of words. tweet <keyword> tweet
tweet coupon
tweet "coupon"
Weather Displays a pointer on the map showing weather information for the zip code specified. weather <zip code> weather 60601
