  1. I've tried to use this plugin with different settings, but no matter what I do I end up with the error Something went wrong while connecting to instagram: Throttled by Instagram because of too many API requests.
  2. The only way I can produce the error is by editing the Wordpress post and clicking Update. The plugin doesn't automatically try to post to IG by itself.

This is what I get on the Posts dashboard when it doesn't autopost:

Instagram Status : Never published

Posted : Unknown

Upload info :

When I try to Update, this is what I get:

Instagram Status : Never published

Posted : Unknown

Upload info : Something went wrong while connecting to instagram: Throttled by Instagram because of too many API requests.

Hi, same issue here. I found this plugin while searching for tools to post from WP to Instagram.

Currently, only two plugins (Blog2Social, SNAP) seem to offer this functionality, and both of them include it as part of their premium versions.

Both of this plugins seemed to offer free posting to IG months ago. My guess is that Instagram restricted their API, making this plugin obsolete...

@rolandalla, if you ever decided to pick it up again, you'd be a true saviour <3

I'll keep researching ways of achieving the integration and let you know if I find any, @starvean, but I don't have high hopes.

I came across those 2 options as well @egozalor. Any other option I've managed to see either scrapped IG auto-publish or just recently pushed it to premium packages.

Sadly, I don't have any hope either. Buffer is about the closest thing I can get to automation, but of course it comes with the manual part of queuing up the posts.

And yes, it would be truly amazing if @rolandalla decided to pick this up again, though it'd be understandable if they didn't.
