Quantify provides the following functionality
- Representations of quantities: numerical values with associated units of measurement (e.g. 10 kilograms, 30 miles per hour)
- Operations on quantities: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, raising to powers, comparison
- Conversions between units
- Switching between unit names and symbols
- Mappings to the unit representations of the Java JScience library (enabling integration with the AMEE platform)
- A configurable system of physical quantities, units and unit prefixes
