Hello there! I'm Olabode, a Software Developer, OSS Maintainer and a passionate Open Source'r ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

My journey into Open Source began June 2023 (few months ago) when I attended OSCAFest (an august Open Source conference in Africa) where I learnt about Open Source (OSS) and had a chat with @bdougie who pretty much pointed me an issue on their @open-sauced project, that led to my first very intentional contribution in open source .

Since then, Open Source hasn't only been my favorite thing, It has been THE THING for me. Having merged 40+ Pull Requests (building features and patching fixes) across multiple projects, had the opportunity to network/collaborate with great engineers, I cannot further stress how much open source means to me.

My "hello-world" of rewards for my OSS contribution in those past months came when I got a recommended to @gr2m, with whom I am currently building "Heartsโค๏ธ" - a Recognition tool for Open Source (a product to watch out for ๐Ÿ˜‰). This was followed by joining the core maintainer team of semantic-release - a software product release automation tool.

I have been and will continue to do the OPEN SOURCE work as a thing I am passionate about, but your SUPPORT will run an extra mile in helping me stay the course.

Thank you for your consideration, let's build! โœŠ

@babblebey

Reaching this goal would be great stuff for me, as it would serve as a very positive pressure of some group of supporters cheering and looking out for some great stuff I should be cooking.
