ASCII Converter is merely a simple tool which helps you to convert an image file into an ASCII artwork.
What you need to do is launch the application, darg your image file to the main window, and you are done. Then you get the converted result, you can copy and paste the text and do whatever you want.
- Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and higher versions.
- Intel or Power PC Macintosh.
- About 1Mb disk space.
If you want to build the application by your self, Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and Xocde 3.0 or higher version are required. You can download Xcode IDE free from Apple Developer Connection. You will be asked to regiter an ADC account.
It is quite easy to build the application:
- Open
ASCIIConverter.xcodeprojwith Xcode. - Click on the "Build" or "Build and Go" button on the toolbar.
- Done!
