While working with @alessiodacapito using fidder to erase membranes, we encountered a bug where
estimate_local_meanwould fail with aTypeError. Basically, due to how the comparison was done,n_samples_for_fitwould end up beingTrueinstead of an integer ^^'We just simplified the code by using
min.
