A standalone script for making comparisons of county jail populations to the county which the jail resides. Active cases from a jail are compared against new cases reported among the county in the last 14 days. Script can be tweaked to also do other carceral facilities as well. Input is at minimum a facility id but also optionally a start date, end date, and alternative text for the county name. Output is a plot as seen below.
How to use the script
Rscript ~/Documents/data-viz/ad-hoc/county_comparisons.R -id 454 -st 2021-12-01 -en 2022-03-01
