The list is not up to date and I think it's best to link to the contributor page only. Once we have a governance model, we can link to how to become a contributor.

The list is not up to date and I think it's best to link to the contributor page only. I don't mean to discount the contributions of anyone in that list but I think it should be much longer at this point and even longer in the future so to simplify things, I want to just link to the list that automatically updates.
Once we have a governance model, we can link to how to become a contributor.
