Azure Kinect

In this document, you will find the first steps in the configuration of your device. All the steps are being executed on a computer with Windows 10 installed. Remember to read the requirements for your device.
The recommended requirements to use the device connected to a computer are as follow:

Additional | Along with the device, you should use an adapter for connecting the device directly to the PC |
- Connect the USB-C cable to the camera.
- Connect the camera to the computer using a USB 3.0 port. To verify which port your computer has, search for Device Manager in your Windows applications and check the Universal Serial Bus Controller menu.
- The computer will recognize your device, and it will automatically install the drivers for your Azure Kinect.
- Once the process is finished and the system confirms the installation of the device with the message “Your device is ready,”.
- Download the Azure Kinect Sensor SDK. You can alternatively search for it on the Internet as Azure Kinect Sensor SDK.
- Install the program.
- Search in the computer the Azure Viewer SDK
- Open the Azure Viewer SDK program
- On the top left, you should be able to see the serial number of your device.
- Check that you are receiving both the RGB and the depth streams
