Unicode Line Separator

Vladimir Schneider edited this page Feb 6, 2019 · 1 revision

'LINE SEPARATOR' (U+2028) are inserted into the file when formatting paragraphs to force line break before elements that should not wrap to the previous line.

After the paragraph format is complete these are removed from the text. It is not possible to permanently insert these characters into the markdown source.

An inspection was added after version 2.8.2 to show a notification when line separator characters are found in the file offering to remove them. However, formatting a file twice would also remove them.
