Hey @kacena123 ,
looking good so far. Sadly there seem to be errors when testing the app. Could you have a look please? I pasted some example output at the end of the evaluation you can see here. Would love to hear your thoughts. Also would you be comfortable to supply me with a fully set up and working .env file? Would be nice if I could simply re-use your testing environment to confirm that everything works instead of creating a new one. If so please email me the data to [email protected].

Thanks!

Hi @PieWol!

I have just sent you the email with details regarding .env files, so you do not need to create a new environment. It was sent from [email protected]

Regarding the tests:
The tests themselves are not failing, the functionality they test passes, but along the way while performing the function they get to some unset variables, so these throw errors during the test (This is mostly because we are unable to mock the Expo secure storage, but this isn't what is being tested, so the test passes correctly (See 9 out of 9 passed tests). This is expected behavior in this case. The other area that might also throw errors is the API interactions with blockchain that are transaction-based (For example creating collection transaction etc.) because we are also unable to mock this in tests. We test other areas of the function, so these errors can be ignored. Resolving these errors by proper mocking and improving them is part of the future work for now.

Let me know if this answers your concern.
Happy to answer any other questions.

Best regards,
Katarina

We noticed that this is the last milestone of your project. Congratulations on completing your grant! 🎊

So, where to from here? First of all, you should join our Grants Community chat, if you haven't already, so we can stay in touch.
If you are looking for continuative support for your project, there are quite a few options. The main goal of the W3F grants program is to support research as well as early-stage technical projects. If your project still falls under one of those categories, you might want to apply for a follow-up grant. However, depending on your goals and project status, there are other support programs in our ecosystem that might be better suited as the next step. For example, projects with a Business Case/Token should look into the Substrate Builders Program or VC Funding and Common Good projects have a good chance of receiving Treasury Funding. If you are looking for guidance, the team at https://substrate.io/ecosystem/square-one/ has compiled a list of ecosystem support sources and are happy to help you navigate it.

For a more comprehensive list, see our Alternative Funding page. Let us know if you have any questions regarding the above. We are more than happy to point you to additional resources and help you determine the best course of action.
Lastly, we hope your W3F grant was a success and we want to thank you for being part of the journey!

Dear @PieWol,

Thanks for your patience and for your prompt evaluation! It means a lot to me that the project is appreciated, and I will work hard to deploy it to both app stores as soon as possible.

BTW: The evaluation feedback is of great value and I will definitely consider some comments from it!

I will let you know once I upload the invoices today.

Thanks again!

Best regards,
Katarina

Thanks @semuelle for the information! I have one more question. I was referred by my university supervisor, and I mentioned them in the referral section of the proposal - link

Do I need to notify them about anything? Do they have to also submit an invoice for the reward? Or no action needed on their end?

Thanks for the information!

Best regards,
Katarina
