Have noticed in browsing the logs that multiple instances of scheduled jobs are triggered - one for each worker - and run near-simultaneously, each receiving the same list of out of date wikibases and attempting to pull fresh data.
This is less than optimal.
So far unsuccessful in recreating the behavior in local testing; will check further Monday. One idea for proposed solution here; otherwise, will need to look further into ap scheduler's job pool handling.
