Iyagi is now in a state of stasis

New stylesheets and bug fixes will be accepted.
but the software is now being retired while a Federated Textboard is being worked on .

Installation, configuration, & moderation of iyagi boards is not difficult

The moderation overhaul

1. mod.py allows the moderator to modify / delete posts and threads
2. spam.txt allows the moderator to reject posts containing certain strings (one per line)
3. bans.txt allows the moderator to ban IPs or make rangebans (not HTaccess based like Kareha)

Atom feeds!

Hello, atom feeds for recent threads / recent posts has been added.

Embedded Youtube videos are now "previewed"; the video thumbnail is embedded, which becomes a video when clicked.

Two youtube videos are permitted per post.

We still do not have proper Unicode support, but the forum is alive and working.
