Input & Output

Function

The Input / Output panel of VessMorphoVis allows users to import a morphology skeleton and set the output path where the different artifacts - such as analysis files, images, meshes, repaired morphology skeletons and even performance statistics - will be generated.

This panel is as displayed in the GUI is shown below.

Input Data Options

The current version of VessMorphoVis can read morphologies stored in the following file formats:

• VMV format, detailed in the paper supplementary material.

• H5 file format. This format is specific to the Blue Brain Project (BPP) and Human Brain Project (HBP), but the python bindings of HDF5 library must be installed to the system to load it.
