AppleScripts for ControlPlane

l00mi edited this page Nov 23, 2012 · 11 revisions

One of the simplest ways to contribute to ControlPlane is by writing scripts. This page serves as a resource for finding scripts that are useful when combined with ControlPlane. You can then easily execute these AppleScripts in ControlPlane using the Open File action.

If you have created a script, please consider submitting your script to http://hints.macworld.com and then linking to the approved submission. This will help ensure your script reaches a larger audience.

If you have found a script, feel free to simply link to it from here.

  • Tweet It: Tweet the current song playing in iTunes.
  • Start Playlist in iTunes: It will take some tweaking from the provided version, but this should let you open iTunes (if closed) and start playing a given playlist.
