One of the simplest ways to contribute to ControlPlane is by writing scripts. This page serves as a resource for finding scripts that are useful when combined with ControlPlane. You can then easily execute these AppleScripts in ControlPlane using the Open File action.
If you have created a script, please consider submitting your script to http://hints.macworld.com and then linking to the approved submission. This will help ensure your script reaches a larger audience.
If you have found a script, feel free to simply link to it from here.

- Fine Volume Control: Increase or decrease volume by very small amounts.
- Lock Computer: Lock the computer by showing the login screen.
- Reboot into Windows: Immediately shutdown and boot into Windows.
- Move Dock: Move the Dock to any side of the screen.
- Switching Time Machine Drives: This script allows you to switch your Time Machine destination drive.
- Switch Adium Profiles: This demonstrates how to start an application with the option key held down. In the case of Adium, it allows the user to switch profiles.
- Tweet It: Tweet the current song playing in iTunes.
- Start Playlist in iTunes: It will take some tweaking from the provided version, but this should let you open iTunes (if closed) and start playing a given playlist.
- Run Winexe: winexe remotely executes commands on WindowsNT/2000/XP/2003 systems from GNU/Linux (and in this case, Mac).
