Translation Verification

nditada edited this page Mar 16, 2020 · 1 revision

If you speak one of the translated (or ongoing translation) languages and have a relevant scientific background, you can help us with verifying the correctness and accuracy of the translation.

To do that, please fill out the onboarding form (https://forms.gle/aPtMHFstGb5Dpod99), making sure to include the languages you speak, your scientific background and your LinkedIn profile (so that we can verify your background).

As soon as we can process that, we will onboard you to the team Slack and to Lokalise, the tool we are using to manage translations. If you are not being able to access that, please ask for help at #translation-ops in Slack.

Once in Lokalise, you should see a project "Flatten-the-curve" and have access to your language(s). Once you are there, you will see a side-by-side list of all the content sections. On top of each box, there is a "Mark as reviewed" icon (glasses).

Please compare for correctness in the translation and make sure that the text is scientifically sound. You may find cultural adaptations that are ok.
