Whereas most Moodle course formats either display all topics on one page, or one topic per page, the Multitopic format is designed to display multiple topics per page. It achieves this by having two types of sections: topics and pages. The Multitopic format is inspired by the Onetopic format, which provides tabs for navigating between pages, and the Multitopic format mainly aims to provide an appearance similar to what the Onetopic format looks like with default options, with the difference of supporting multiple topics per page. Topics can also be timed.
This document is intended for teachers and administrators, and is divided into four sections, covering issues related to the Multitopic plugin as a whole, and Multitopic courses, pages, and topics. It assumes the reader is familiar with Moodle and the Topics format, and mainly focuses on things particular to the Multitopic format.
