I think I see the issue but it will take a bit to confirm. Unfortunately, the Release Please config is not documented very well. I'll open a PR once I have something working.

I was able to get the release process working. Here's an example release.

https://github.com/open-feature/kotlin-sdk/releases/tag/v0.0.2

I did downgrade the version to test deployments before a 1.0 release.
