  1. Download ISO image lliurex 19 desktop version.

  2. Format the usb to be used as a boot disk.

  3. Download balenaEtcher program to turn the usb into a boot disk.

  4. Select the .iso image of lliurex where it is stored on your computer, with the usb plugged into the computer and press the Flash button. This process can take between 5 and 10 minutes.

  5. Once you have the boot disk, turn off the computer, power on and instantly press the F2 or F11 keys depending on the computer to access the BIOS.

  6. Once inside the BIOS, pressing the F8 key, the two boot disks will appear (one for Windows / MAC and another boot disk, which will be the one for Lliurex that will have the name as the usb drive. Click on this to boot Lliurex. First, a black screen will appear indicating if we want to test or install Lliurex. Do not select any option, and after 5 seconds Lliurex will run.

  7. Once in Lliurex, download soundcool-master from github and follow steps to run the Soundcool server:

  • Open cmd
  • cd Desktop
  • cd soundcool-master
  • cd dist
  • ./soundcool-linux
  • Visit the URL http://localhost:5000 in your browser
